The morning started with DOUBLES play with 8 teams.  The teams were fairly evenly matched with the top singles players paired with the lowest rated players and many of the B & C level players paried.  First round teams advance to the SE semi-finals and the first round losers played off in the Consolation doubles.  Thus all entrants got 2 or 3 matches. Although Karl estimated the seedings but no seeded team advance to the finals. Great fun and action as doubles was new to all most all but the ultimate winners.
